A few years ago I made a simple proposal to the LADOT which was largely ignored. Seeing as it’s about 97 degrees F here in Los Angeles today, and it’s February, I’m thinking it’s high time to bring this back into the public forum for discussion. I’ve tasked my assistant with doing some public planning research, mapping, and general FAQing and we should have a more formal proposal online in the next few weeks. At that point we’ll get city approval, funding, and I suspect this will be motion by June at the latest. Depending on the amount of red tape the fat cats in city hall throw at us it might be sooner than that. Ideally I’d like to have some of the major routes fully functional by the end of summer.

Also, here’s my new mock for the logo for The Institute For A Better Tomorrow. Institutional, but futurey – right?
