D5K (aka Delay5000 aka DVK) was the catch all housing project for the experimental, ambient, drone, and noise audio pieces created by Sean Bonner and friends. Over the years a number of different people would contribute to or collaborate with the project in one way or another.
Between 2015-2020 there were 15 D5K releases and 2 live performances in Tokyo. The project originally leaned heavily ambient with a focus on long form tape loops and layered textures, but continually moved in a more distorted and chaotic direction which essentially put an end to this project and gave birth to the more noise focused solo project DRØNEWAR.
